ANALISA DAMPAK PEDAGANG KAKI LIMA TERHADAP KINERJA LALU LINTAS

Studi Kasus : Ruas Jalan Niaga Kecamatan Mojosari Kabupaten Mojokerto

Abstract

The activities on Niaga Street are the activities of street vendors who do not have enough facilities in the market for trading. it is necessary to conduct a study to determine the impact of street vendors on road performance. The method used is the guideline for Indonesian road capacity (2014), Urban roads. The data collection method used is primary and secondary data. Primary data are traffic volume, local speed, side barriers and delays. Primary data collection was carried out in 3 days, namely Monday 11 July 2022, Thursday 14 July 2022 and Sunday 17 July 2022. Observation time was carried out with a time period of 06.00 to 17.00 with 15 minute intervals. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the presence of street vendors on the roads greatly affected the performance of the roads. The capacity on Jalan Niaga decreased from 3118 skr/hour to 1313 skr/hour. The speed on the Niaga road also decreased from 22.67 km/hour to 10.85 km/hour, resulting in a decrease in travel speed in percent of 47.9% (taken from the local speed survey during the biggest peak hour Sunday 17 July 2022). The degree of saturation (DJ) increased from 0.38 to 0.83. Travel time increased from 23.82 seconds to 49.75 seconds, resulting in a increase in travel time in percent of 47.9%. And, resulting in fuel losses of Rp. 316,566,29,- .
